Yuwen Chen

As a student of Design Product, I can make models of products by using Rhino, that I introduced myself to and undertook the work of modeling of the world of crops. To my surprise, all people in our team who can make models use different modeling tools. For example, the teammate who showed us New Art City uses a modeling tool which is completely different from mine; unfortunately, her models are suitable for New Art City while mine are not. Then things became difficult. I had to transfer my models into a correct format to fit New Art City. Then another problem appeared; after transferring, the files of my models became very large which made it impossible to upload because New Art City cannot contain such large files. As a result, I broke my models into small parts and re-arranged them directly in line with New Art City instead of my modeling tool. The world of crops I made looked like a city rather than several buildings compared the former one. There are lots of giant crops planted in the city and a player can walk through them just like walking in the forest. Another world created by my teammates, the world of diversity, is more colorful than mine. This world is full of weird plants, which reminded me of some amusement parks I had been too before. Because of my experience in video editing, I also made the introduction video in the reception world.
