Our project is inspired by “Sleep with one eye open”. The eyes are intimidating not only to humans but also often seen in nature. Some butterflies have eyespots on their wings as a form of mimicry to deceive potential predator or prey species. They act as a deterrent to predators, making attackers think they are suddenly facing a larger and potentially dangerous animal. Hence we decided to make a balaclava with an eye that is built for surveillance surroundings and could alert the wearer when properly approaching with bad intentions. Also, the more attention attracts, the less chance will get of being a target for a thief, which leads to an increase in the level of safety.
