Our final output is the design of Life Menu, a book that serves as a collection of the best recipes and advice. Life Menu is a self-help cook book for people’s daily problems. This publication is the outcome of our vast problematic "Healing through food" and derivated from our initial idea of gathering people with food. We hope that people from different cultural backgrounds and of all ages will empthasis and connect through the stories in the menu. And in the process, people can know each other's experiences and cure through the medium of food. Even extensive social networks can be created through food to provide social and emotional support to individuals. It is a research project that explores the healing power of food and plant-based medicine, such as vegetables, teas, herbs, and meals, that can contribute to elevating our mood. The final outcome is about creating a collection of the best recipes and advice for people to use as a tool to help them manage their emotions. Our project aligned with the proposal and feedback from part 1 of the unit as we are able to take the initial idea of gathering people with food and turn it into a self-help cook book that addresses the emotional and mental well-being of people. Before running the workshop, we first gained approval from the Health and Safety Department by email. And we followed the ethics review feedback and conducted our first workshop on fellow students rather than external participants. We also obtained informed written consent from all participants for any interviews conducted and for participation in workshops.
