He Zhai

I (and a dog) walk along a railway immersing myself into an olive field full of industrial emissions.

I majored in landscape architecture as the beginning of my exploration of nature, and now I keep on learning environmental architecture to see the much more complex politics and mechanisms behind the environment deterioration nowadays. I like using photography, filming and field works to collect practical information of locality, and through architectural methodology namely modelling and mapping I have a representation of my analysis and narrative.

Thanks to a more general perspective of research and a collaborative working style, I acquired the ability of logic thinking and also acceptability to new fields. When I decide my format of investigation and intervention, I am also interested in digital art and installations to create a rather immersive experience.
