SH...SEX!

Caring SocietyInclusivity

How would you express sexual desires? or sexual problems?

Are you able to express your desires/problems?

As a young person, do you feel ashamed?

Would it be the same when you aged?

‘Sh... SEX’ is a small project that explores the topics of sex and how sex is viewed from different perspectives. In this project, we created a set of card for the audience to play. The idea is to create awareness and acknowledge the presence of communication barriers between people, and across generations. By playing the game, we wish to increase the sense of empathy and allow the audiences to have better understandings of not only the elderly, but also those who are around in lives. We hope that through a less serious but more joyful format can encourage more people to participate.

There are some rules in the game. Each card has a different sexual disease in their medical terms with a description of the symptoms. However, there are some forbidden words that are not allowed when describing the condition to the other player. For example, AIDS, the cards will have the symptoms of AIDS and the forbidden words are sex organs, sexual behaviour and so on. Two players are asked to play a role; one as the patient and the other as the doctor. The doctor will then need to work out what the issue is accordingly. If the words are mentioned, the game will fail.
