Parallel Worlds

A Card Game about Climate and Colonialism
Climate CrisisAwarenessClimate Change

Years ago, Haiti and Dominican Republic were neighbours with comparable geographies sharing the island of what is called 'Hispaniola' today. Fast forward to the present, Haiti is a more barren country in comparison to the DR, and is susceptible to natural disasters.

Parallel Worlds is an informational card game, designed to inform players about the contrasting relationship between the two island countries of the Caribbean, and connect the two seemingly unconnected worlds of colonialism and the climate crisis.

Our response will hopefully give people a fuller picture of the truth, and guide them through card games to have a more comprehensive understanding of climate crisis, explore different scenarios and consider a range of possibilities.
