Sara Osman Portrait

Sara Osman is a British Artist, of Turkish-Cypriot heritage, born and based in London. In July 2021, Osman graduated from Loughborough University with a First-Class Honours degree in Fine Art. Following a successful degree show exhibition, Osman received the Edward Sharp Prize for the Oil painting Syria, which is now permanently held in Loughborough Universities' political department. The installation Far from Home III was also shortlisted for the Royal Academy summer exhibition and nominated for the Artsthread Graduate Design Awards. Furthering her education in Fine Art, Osman is currently studying a Masters in Sculpture at the Royal College of Art, September 2022-23.

During London Frieze week 2021, Osman exhibited in The Factory Project, which showcased the works of mid-career artists, including David Shrigley, Sarah Maple and Maja Djordjevic. Featured in The Art Newspaper, Frieze Art Fair Issue 1, FAD magazine for ‘The Top 5 Exhibitions To See In London After Frieze Week’, Trebuchet and Art Rabbit.

Osman has also exhibited at: Gallery No.32’s annual Winter Sculpture Park, Bexley; Outside of Royal Albert Hall, Kensington; New Walk, Museum and Art Gallery, Leicester; The Manufacturing Technological Centre, Coventry; The Bank of Cyprus, London and D31 Art Gallery, Doncaster.
