Rui Jiao, a visual artist from China, holds a BA in Theatre, Film and Television Design from the Communication University of China and lives in London. She works in a variety of media including film, theatre and animation, and is adept at using time, space and visuals together to create a narrative work. The themes of her work are mostly about reflections on the self, on her own behaviour, gender roles and on the relationships and lives around her.
