My practice is focused on sex advertisements in London telephone boxes (1984-2001), exploring the boundaries of lust and disgust when private intentions are conducted in a visible, public space. I am interested in the repulsion and moral panic caused by the visibility of these objects, where narratives of dirt and waste repositioned the space of the telephone box in the public imagination. My Across RCA project assessed another form of moral panic, one in which the treacherous digital landscape of deepfake technology was examined through the format of a short documentary film.
