Before I study textiles, I study fashion. I am interested in focusing on expressing personal emotions and using the body of work to explore them, regardless of gender. We do not have to put ourselves into a specific box, as gender is fluid, and textiles can break this mould. Therefore, my design works emphasize both 'feminine' and 'masculine' elements while attempting to produce a new image that is not monolithic, but diverse.
