Siqi Li is a digital creator and architectural designer with backgrounds from Shanghai and Melbourne, now in London. Upon her graduation from the RMIT University (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, BA Architecture), she has been exposed to speculative design methodologies and emerging technologies with explorations of Mars immigration, coexistence with Epidemics and ecological 3d-print-structures. With interdisciplinary interests, she also collaborated with fashion designers and studios in projects of pattern-making and spatial design of virtual stores.
Out of curiosity and constant fascination in both natural matters and digital contexts, Siqi has situated her research direction for the first year of MA Architecture in RCA at an intersection of biology-integrated-design research, the social act of architecture and digital tools of AI, parametric simulation and virtual experience.
