Gozde Uyar

Fragile figure

Gozde is a London-based architectural designer and spatial data analyst with over 10 years of work experience in using data to inform urban and architectural design processes. Her work focuses on the relationship between social and spatial dynamics in buildings and cities. 

Prior to the RCA, Gozde qualified and worked as an architect in Istanbul where she developed an interest in the use of evidence-based design technologies and spatial analytics. She holds a Distinction degree of Masters of Science in Space Syntax: Architecture and Cities from The Bartlett, UCL where she developed in-depth knowledge and skills to analyse architectural and urban systems and determine their roles in creating human-centric environments. During her role as Senior Design Researcher at Woods Bagot, Superspace, ERA-co, and Space Syntax Ltd, she has been involved in various international projects including masterplan development, advanced spatial analysis, and agent-based simulation at varying scales from building to the regional level.
