Hi, I’m Fei Liu, a knitted textile designer. I focus on using knit techniques to create samples and products that can explore different senses of touch to influence people’s emotions to be more relaxed and minimise stress.
I enjoy doing colour work and pattern design, and I have also developed my interest in the interaction of materials and people. This year I am continuing to develop the idea of therapy with haptic, trying to combine colour psychology and touching psychology to provide a sensory experience. Also, I aim to make knitted products and knit atmospheres that have the function to support some specific groups of people, like patients with anxiety and autism.
